The Live Native Essential Mist MSM Corrective Toner has converted me to the use of a toner. I do feel like this does more than just splashing my face with water: it adds extra moisture/comfort and makes my skin feel more balanced. I missed it on the couple of days between running out and the new one arriving. I love Live Native and I'm still using mostly Live Native products, but some of the formulations are unlike conventional skincare and require a little more faff than conventional skincare to use. The MSM toner is not one of those products, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
I'm testing and liking a couple of shampoos and conditioners from Less Is More at the moment, but Rahua original formulation is still my absolute favourite shampoo and conditioner, and I recently purchased my third bottle of the shampoo (I find it runs out a bit quicker than the conditioner for me). This is really expensive as shampoo and conditioner goes (£26 for the shampoo) but it suits my medium thickness wavy hair very well, giving shine without weighing it down, and it does last me for several months used every other day.
I bought both of these from www.beingcontent.com.

The toner sounds amazing, been looking for a toner that doesn't strip all the moisture from my skin so might give this one a go : )

The Live Native one is great - it feels like it adds moisture and conditions the skin. It's more like a Japanese lotion step, but without the alcohol.
DeleteI hope you don't mind me saying, but I just went and had a quick look on your blog and noticed you don't seem to have put titles on your posts. You might not be bothered about search engines and the like, but if you title your posts with the product you are reviewing/writing about, they are more likely to be picked up by search engines like Google.
Thanks for visiting my blog :)
Thanks for the tip : )
DeleteAfter reading your review about the toner. I went to my favorite online shop the organic bodycare shop to see if they sell it.They had the toner for 50% off. I cannot wait to try it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip!
Hi!
ReplyDeleteI'm very interested in Live Native and am going to order the Essential Frangipani moisturizer...the cleanser, which you reviewd, sounds great, as well. So does the toner! I do not use toner, however, if this provides extra moisturise, it might be good...what do you mean by Live Native formulations require extra faff?
I agree with you about the Rahua shampoo...i find it the best one, although I use the Voluminous hair one... I tried Intelligent Nutrients and John Masters, but still prefer Rahua... I like John Masters Honey and Ibiscus, though!
Hi Clara :) By faff I mean they have quite specific application requirements and textures. For example, the moisturiser and balm cleanser do liquify above 20/25 C (as they are raw formulations without emulsifiers and binders), the cleansers require muslins to remove. If you are used to brands like Dr Hauschka then they won't seem that unusual (and I think that's you) but to someone who uses department store brands they do take a little getting used to.
DeleteI like other brands, but Rahua is still my favourite. Our hair has expensive taste ;)
Ok, understand....Then it will not be a difference for me, as i use mostly oils and/or products who 'behave' in a similar way!
ReplyDeleteThanks for explaining the meaning of 'faff'!!! :)
I love Rahua products too - just wish they weren't so expensive!
