Kjaer Weis Blossoming, Divine and Passionate face

Mr London was very generous for my birthday this year and gave me the Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Blossoming and Lip Tint in Passionate to go with the Eyeshadow in Divine. (I might have put stars next to them on my birthday list.)

Divine is a neutral medium-dark grey that has really grown on me, especially worn in the crease and next to the lashline rather than all over the lid.

Blossoming is a rosy pink with some warmth to it, and it gives me a very natural flush. If you're looking for a cooler pink I'd suggest going for the newer shade, Lovely, although I haven't seen any real life pictures of it.

Passionate is a sheer, warm red. The level of pigmentation is similar to RMS Beauty Lip Shines, but the Kjaer Weis gives more of a semi-matte stain finish. Passionate oomphs up my lip colour and knocks back the mauve tones, but still looks like a very natural lip on me. I'm tempted to try the darker burgundy Goddess shade.

Swatches left to right: Blossoming, Passionate and Divine
All three applied, with concealer, brows and mascara. It's a better-than-naked-but-still-quite-natural look on me.

The packaging of these is beautiful but really heavy - the Cream Blush is particularly weighty. Mr London bought these from www.slowfashionhouse.com, who ship in Europe. In the US, Kjaer Weis can be purchased at www.kjaerweis.com.

  1. The packaging looks amazing, it doesn't show well on the web page (looks heavy as well). Thanks for the pics. I have been thinking about these, there is a store that sells them in Spain. I am just not sure if the are worth the money, maybe I can try a refill and put it in a palette...

    1. Hi Lunaday - if you have a palette system that you like, that might be the way to go. The price difference between the packaged products and the refills are substantial.

  2. Ooooh!! *claps hands* Didn't he do well? That's a really nice, natural look on you (I can't believe how much your hair has grown too). I love the colours you chose and I'm particularly taken with the swatch of Blossoming.

  3. What lovely birthday presents, these really do look fantastic on you and your Mr is clearly a total star! Please can he write a blog post I can print off for my OH entitled "Just buy the stuff with the star next to it, sod the price" or similar!

  4. Wow those are lovely pieces! Just the kind of colours I would choose for myself.

What a lucky girl you are for having a man so good.

  5. Those colors look so nice on you! I have Blossoming (which I love) and Passionate (which I don't like; it looks odd on me, far too light (or orange/coral?) over my natural lip color). On you, Passionate is lovely. As for Goddess, I do have it and it's wonderful, a real Snow White cherry red. I was hoping for/expecting something deeper (more burgundy), but I like it as it is. My coloring is a bit different than yours (I think my lips are pinker, less mauve), but I imagine you'd like it. Hope you get a chance to give it a try!

    1. Hi Sam - Passionate is lighter than I was expecting too, but luckily it works for me. I will definitely have to give Goddess a go, thank you for that.

  8. Happy belated birthday. Kjaer Weiss is certainly the brand to ask for. What stunning packaging. I've come close to ordering some products but I'd really prefer seeing it first on blogs (or in person). Beautiful colors for you Grace.

  9. Hi Grace,
    Happy happy birthday!

The Kjaer Weiss stuff looks awesome on you. Yes, hubby is a keeper but you look great and deserve them as well ;)

It is very interesting that I really dislike the color lilac but I adore your lilac strip :)

  10. We must be on the same wave length. I just got the lip refills in Passionate (Love it!) and Sensuous Plum which you would really like too. It's a beautiful plum with a red undertone.

    Happy birthday!

    1. Thanks Kate :) I'd make the lip a touch cooler and deeper for absolute preference, but it's a pretty shade.
