RMS Beauty Karma, Myth and Rapture face

I'm completely enamoured of RMS Beauty Karma eyeshadow. The soft black-brown cream eyeshadow is an excellent base, and makes the reddish copper Myth eyeshadow easier to wear. In these pictures, I've applied a base of Karma and a little Karma with an eyeliner brush in the middle of my lower lashes, then smudged Myth on my mobile lid over it.

I also used Rapture Lip2Cheek high on my cheekbones (almost where I'd usually put a highlighter) using the warm blood red Rapture to pick up the reddish tones of the eye.
I also dabbed a little Rapture on my lips, then topped with balm to give a glossy finish. The eyes look less dramatic in photos than they do in real life, although it's still wearable for daytime.

  1. So beautiful and natural. It enhances your natural beauty without looking like make up. Excellent! Do they last though? That's my only worry when using creams, that by the middle of the day they'll have melted away.

    1. Hi Odyssey, and thank you :)

They do fade and the eyeshadows do crease, because of the texture of them. I don't mind that though - it's easy enough to fix creasing and oomph up the colour with fingertip blending and application. I personally don't like make up that looks perfect all day long - I'm not that kind of person and I like looking a little lived in! ;) If creasing bothers you, I wouldn't recommend these.

    2. I don't mind a bit of creasing. Lived-in looks are my favourite, they feel more real and have a certain kind of edge to them that I enjoy. The problem is that with make-up you might end up with it melting down your face, getting panda-eyes, especially on hot days like today. These look so beautiful though. Very your[eyelids/cheecks/lips] but better!

  3. So gorgeous, when the MUA in the parlor they sell RMS applied Karma to me I was slightly scared of the darkness but it looks so beautifully blended on you that I'll reconsider this one

    1. Hi Birkinbagbeauty - it really blends out well, particularly if you dab a little of one of the lighter colours over it. I'm also using it as a base for mineral powder eyeshadows too.
