RMS Beauty Karma, Magnetic and Moment applied

This is a combination I've been using a lot recently - I use the black/brown Karma as a base on my lids and into my crease and then dab some taupe Magnetic over the top in the middle of my mobile lid. Bloom (sorry for the typo, and thanks to Sam!) Moment Lip Shine goes on both lips and cheeks for a glossy hint of warm brown. I apply all three with fingertips.

The only other products I've used are my usual W3LL People Narcissist as a concealer, a black pencil on my upper lashes (applied before the cream eyeshadows) and Shu Uemura Hard Brow Pencil in Seal Brown.

I really like the combination of the Karma and Magnetic. Magnetic softens Karma a little, and Karma oomphs up Magnetic. It takes five minutes to do too, which is always good on busy mornings.

  2. I do not have a lot of time in the morning to play with makeup either, it is quicker to apply everything with fingers. Very natural look!

    1. These never set so they're good for a glossy eye. I find them really comfy to wear.

    1. Hi Tammy - the colours last pretty well through the day, but the eyeshadows do tend to crease a bit, being a creamy texture. I find it quite easy to fix with a fingertip though.

  5. Did you wear Moment (as in the post title) or Bloom (mentioned in the post itself)? In the pot, it looks like Bloom--but I don't see, on you, the dreadful light orangey-brown cast that Bloom produces on my lips and cheeks. (I have to wear Moment instead, though it's a bit lighter/pinker than I like.) Anyway, if that's Bloom, it's very nice on you, and the look overall is enviably easy yet elegant. I love RMS--and was introduced to the brand through your blog a year or more ago, so thank you!

    1. Hi Sam - so sorry! It's Moment - the mid brown, Bloom is the paler, peachier pink.

Moment is less brown on my lips than on other people as I have quite strong mauve tones in my lips. I find Bloom a bit harder to wear on its own as it is too pale for me, I generally have to layer it over another colour.

    2. Uh oh--I reversed the names in my head, didn't I, thinking Bloom was the browner one, Moment the pinker one. (My brain must have confused "Moment" with "Modest," the Lip2Cheek color that is quite pink.) Sorry for the confusion! Yes, Moment (brown) looks really nice on you. (Bloom I like on top of some of the darker RMS L2C colors, to lighten and moisturize). I wish she'd make something more mauve or burgundy in that nice formulation. Anyway, thanks again for proving that Moment really can look nice.

    3. Hi Sam - I think because I have a lot of purple in my lips it de-browns Moment :)

The good news is that RMS has just come out with a cooler pink shade - Sublime, which looks to be more of a cool, slightly brighter candy pink. The other lip tint I really want to try is the Kjaer Weis one - hard to get hold of, and expensive in the flashy packaging, but some of the colours look lovely.

  6. Love the insipirational lemmings you create! I did my face today with Karma, Modest and the luminizer and love how easy and quick it is.
