It's my Beauty Spotlight turn to show you What's in my.... and I've gone for my skincare corner. I put the products by the window in order to photograph them - I don't usually have them in direct sunlight!
Cleansers:
Oskia Perfect Cleanser*
My balm cleanser. If I feel my skin needs a deep clean, this is the one I reach for.
Stem Organics Gentle Cleansing Milk
Fluid cleanser. Light and quick to use, as it rinses off easily with water. Takes off normal eye make up.
Mu London Foaming Rose cleanser
Morning wash, and also Miss London's face wash of choice (yes she's ten. She's definitely my girl.)
Exfoliator:
Fix Malibu Wish Wash
A powder wash with salicylic acid to gently exfoliate the skin.
Day Serums:
Skinceuticals CE Ferulic
I come back to some sort of Skinceuticals C serum every summer. I've moved to CE Ferulic this year as my skin feels a little drier than it did last year.
Perricone Face Firming Activator*
I use this DMAE and glycolic acid serum 2 or 3 mornings a week (I don't use the CE Ferulic that day).
Daytime Moisturiser:
Super By Dr Perricone Daylight Savings
SPF 25 from zinc oxide. Comfy on the skin. If I was in charge I'd lose the shimmer, but it's not enough to stop me using it.
Eye products:
La Bella Figura Decouverte Eye Serum*
This is a sample of the La Bella Figura Decouverte. It's an oil based serum, it feels light and sinks into the skin quickly. Contains coffee bean extract to help with puffiness and dark circles, and barbary fig (prickly pear) oil which is high in anti-oxidants. If you find most eye creams make your eye area puffy or congested, this is definitely worth a try.
Perricone Cold Plasma Eye Cream*
Does not smell fishy. Sinks in quickly without leaving a residue so makeup can be applied over it straight away. If my eye area is looking particularly tired or feeling very dry I layer this over the Decouverte, but I more typically use this in the morning and the Decouverte in the evening.
Night oil
DeMamiel Spring Facial Oil
I've reviewed this recently. Love it. Perfect night time treatment, smells heavenly and leaves skin feeling plump and nourished.
Night Cream
Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream*
This cream smells and feels completely indulgent. I use this on nights my skin feels like it needs more moisture. If you don't have the time or inclination to use oils or serums at night, this cream stands on its own as a great night treatment too.
Items marked with * are PR samples.

Love it.Thanks for sharing that very unique and wide range of products.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI really enjoyed this post, I love having a nosy at people's day to day products. You have a lovely selection of brands and products. Thank you for letting us have a peek in your bathroom!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling I would get on well with La Bella Figura eye serum as my eyes do have a tendency to become puffy when I use a cream. At the moment I'm using the Perricone MD Hypoallergenic firming eye cream and getting on well with it. I'm remembering to use it too :D
Hi MB - the La Bella is the one I wanted you to try - I must make you a sample from mine.
DeleteI love this kind of posts. I would love to see your hair corner :)
ReplyDeleteHi M - that's a good idea, I will see what I can do.
DeleteOooh lots of things in there I'd like to try!
ReplyDeleteThank you - I love seeing what other people are using too.
DeleteWow! U do have a really wide range of products, especially cleansers...thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI like to be covered for all eventualities :D I actually thought my routine was quite simple until I wrote it all out.
DeleteI really should try Skinceuticals. I can't believe I haven't yet! I actually just ordered the Perricone Cold Plasma Face. Maybe I'll have to try the eye one next. Right now I'm using the acyl-glutathione eye serum and just ordered the face version. I have a HUGE problem with upper lid puffiness. Do you use the La Bella on your upper eye area? Thanks for the peek. Jane is right. It's fun being nosy!
ReplyDeleteHi PP - I haven't used the La Bella on my upper lids, but the Cold Plasma can be used on upper lids too.
DeleteThanks for lettings us look at skincare corner. Love these kinds of posts, always fun to poke around someone else's cupboards!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you used that much Perricone. I used to only use that line though I never used the eye cream.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what you are using.
Actually I am glad someone has more than 1 cleanser! I have a different toner for am and pm and a different serum, it is the all eventualities that I need covered as well. Thanks so much for sharing this Grace I love a good nose around someone's routine and there is a great mix of brands here.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, L! I always read all your skin care posts even if I am not interested in a product :)
ReplyDeleteI also use and like Fix Malibu Wish Wash. As for vitamin C serum, I really loved the Apivita one.
Thanks for sharing, I like taking a peek at what others are using!
ReplyDeleteAgree the Omorovicza cream is divine, I love the kinda buttery creamy texture and it seems to be good for dehydration too.
Great having a peek at your skincare, lots of lovely brands there. Both of the eye creams sound interesting, I always seem to add to my wish list after reading one of your posts ;) x
ReplyDeleteOh, I loved this post! You've got me interested in a couple of new products (which I need like I need a hole in the head). I, too, use several cleansers according to my needs at the time. Actually, I also use several serums, creams, and eye creams. And hair products. Basically, I don't do well paring things down!
ReplyDeleteIt always fascinates me to see what other people are having success with. What is your skin type? Might help me whittle down those new lemmings!
Hi Shannon - my skin is normal to dry, leaning more to dry. My skin gets clogged easily, so I avoid products that contain mineral oil and lots of heavy silicones (both of those cause breakouts for me.)
DeleteThanks for the tips.
ReplyDeleteI also love the cocoa butter moisturiser, i think its called palmers?
It smells so tasty, like chocolate
I suffer from dark circles and this post definitely interested me in a few new products. Thanks!

Check me out at http://beautyaddictsworld.blogspot.com/
The MU London cleanser sounds wonderful. At the moment, I use Organic Surge's daily face wash in the morning. The rose geranium in it is a great way to start your day. I'm interested in the Skinceuticals CE ferulic serum. What's your primary reason for using it?
ReplyDeleteAli x
Hi Ali - I use the CE Ferulic mostly for the added protection from UV damage. It's pricey, but good.
DeleteI know this is an old routine but am really hoping you will see this post to answer. I have just spent a fortune on omorovicza as the few products I have tried I have loved. My recent purchase is the intensive hydrating cream & the rejuvenating night cream as in your post but looking at the ingredients I see that shea butter is the swcond ingredients. What is your opinion on shea butter as I am worried it may clog my pores. I often use an oil as my treatment at night then a moisturiser on top. What was you experience of using this cream over time. (if you can remember) Thank you for sharing your routines. :)
ReplyDeleteHi - I had no problems with it clogging pores. Shea Butter is fine/good for my normal/dry skin - I just avoid my chin and nose when I'm applying my moisturiser (I do that whatever the formulation).
DeleteThis was a lovely, lovely night cream. I remember I used it up. It left my skin in great condition - the only reason I didn't purchase it myself afterwards was I'd moved on to other things to test.
Revisiting this post, I'm reminded how good that Super sunscreen was too - too bad it was discontinued.
Thank you! Really love your honest posts :)
