I went to the Content Beauty/Wellbeing shop on Wednesday to buy the new rms Beauty cream eyeshadow (Karma, a dark brown/black with silver shimmer) but it hasn't arrived from the US quite yet, so I bought this Lip Shine instead.
Moment is a medium caramel brown shade with very subtle rose tones. It's deeper and a bit sheerer than Muse Lip2Cheek, which is a pink beige with shimmer. I don't own Muse - Moment is an easier shade for me to wear due to the warmer/deeper caramel tones.
Here's Moment compared to Lip Shine in Bloom, a slightly peachy pink shade.
The only picture wearing it that shows the colour well and doesn't feature blinking-angry-drunk eyes also has a stray hair on the forehead and my chin cut off, but here you go anyway.
I'm wearing Moment on my lips and cheeks, with Magnetic cream eyshadow (also from rms Beauty) on my eyes. On my lips it gives a caramel nude/neutral shade, as it knocks back the blue tones in my lips. On my cheeks it gives a subtle warmth.

It look vert pretty on you! On the lips it reminds me a bit of a more opaque NARS Medea.

Hi Conny, how are you? It's *very* Medea-ish, good call on the colour. I much prefer the texture of these to the NARS Lacquers. KA at SpaceNK - red lipstick heaven! Very exciting indeed.
DeleteI am well, thanks... I have a feeling that my favourite Kevyn Aucoin lipsticks (the Lip Tints) have been discontinued, but I'd love to try more products anyway...

They definitely haven't discontinued the Lip Tints, although they have been repackaged into round tubes rather than the square ones. Mise Beauty has them. It might just be that SpaceNK hasn't got them up online yet. They're one of the best things in the line - I love Bloodroses and Talula.
DeleteBloodroses is my favourite, too and I love Talula in summer. I also love Enhanteberry and Dantique. Glad to hear that they have not been discontinued...
ReplyDeleteI am also glad Space NK has finally started to stock some interesting make up brands (KA and Ellis Faa,s for instance) as in the last year or so it had become too skincare oriented for my taste ...

I thought that too - they've cut back on the make up in the last few years. Remember when they had Stephane Marais, Becca and Stila? Happy days. I guess the skincare has a better profit margin, and it's easier to discontinue slow sellers and replace with new brands, in terms of shelf space.
DeleteTo be honest, I have not found anything exciting in ages... I was never interested in Lime Crime and Jemma Kidd (their most recent make-up additions, if I remember correctly). Agree that skincare is more profitable...
ReplyDeleteI agree, it did feel like Space NK had become slightly stale, I would actually get more excited visiting the Beauty Hall in Liberty but hopefully with the arrival of KS things are on the up!
