Hello Hello!

Sorry I've been a bit quiet on the posting front this week; it's my last week at work before Christmas, which means I've been snowed under with that (and for those of you who follow me on Twitter, yes, I've been cheating on the blog with the Skyrim Xbox game.)

I have a couple of posts planned in my head. This weekend I'm going to make a video on the Leonor Greyl haircare range, I have a review of some  Beauty Works body care in my head and a very quick review of the Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia Fragrance Chronicle (nice, but not as good as the Pomegranate Noir one). I've also been pulling out and using a few old MAC reliables that I may write a post on.

So, how are you? All ready for Christmas? I would be, if bloody Amazon hadn't lost a parcel and sent it by an untraceable method (Home Delivery Network, you fail at delivery).

  1. I'm partially ready. I still feel stressed at the thought of all the wrapping ahead of me. I keep thinking I ought to prepare some posts for when I go away over Christmas but I know it won't happen as I'm just not that organised. Ah well, there's always wine and Baileys to fall back. Maybe now would be a good time for me to start those Sauvignon Blanc reviews?!

  2. Bloody Amazon indeed. They sent me an email saying that a gift for my husband (the Mouse Guard role-playing game book) was backordered. After waiting a week, nothing changed. Today I cancelled the order and placed a new order for the (twice as expensive) Mouse Guard role-playing game box set.
Finding this awesome review on Wired is what convinced me in the end: http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2011/12/mouse-guard-rpg-box-set/

How is Skyrim? Our friends keep telling us to get it, but we have a PS3, not an Xbox. Still, sounds/looks fantastic and I'm tempted.

  3. I'm still not ready, the best was that the cup and saucers that we had ordered for my mums present from John Lewis turned up yesterday minus the cups..uuumm..
I am hoping I get some By Terry for Christmas, I decided against that Or Rose highlighter for now though as the photos I have seen of it make it look like its just an overspray on top x

  4. Hi Proximity - not sure I'd get it on the PS3 - lots of reports of it slowing down really badly when you're about 40 hours in. The Xbox version holds up better.

I will only use Shopto.net for games in the future - they've never let me down.

Replica - wishing you speedy saucers, and MB, wishing you patience!
