  1. What are your favorite lipsticks, blushes and eyeshadow quads from Tom Ford's newly launched line and why?

  2. Hello Anonymous. My favourite blush is the one I bought - Wicked. It's a bright, cool pink, and works well on my pale olive skin. I nearly bought Frantic Pink but it was out of stock in Harrods, and now I'm glad I got Wicked instead. Frantic Pink was more of a shell-pink highlight on my skin.

Eyeshadow quads. I like the Silvered Topaz quad I have, but with the caveat that it isn't for you if you don't like glitter in eyeshadows. The two taupe shimmer shades in it are annoyingly similar when applied too; it would have been better with a good paler base shade instead of one of these in my opinion.

I think the most useful quad is Cocoa Mirage, with brown neutrals in matte and sheen/shimmer shades.

Violet Dusk and Burnished Amber are the prettiest of the quads in my opinion, if you like more colour.

For the lip colours, I like the Violet Fatale for a bright lip and Casablanca for a neutral rose (I've pictured both of those - although in recommending Violet Fatale I do have to say my OCC Lip Tar dupe is really extremely close). There are more neutral/natural shades than in the original Private Blend 12 colours, so it's easier to find a my lips but better shade. Crimson Noir is a nice, very slightly blackened red (darker than Smoke Red from the Private Blends). I was glad to see Cherry Lush survive the cull, as that's a beautiful bright cherry red. I did not like Flamingo, which was an odd too-bright-in-a-flattering-way when I swatched it.

Hope this helps - let me know if you've any more questions. The eye pencils are very good, by the way.
