I've started a London Makeup Girl page on Facebook. I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing with it, but at the moment my vague plan is that it's quite a good way to keep up with the news from brands I'm interested in, chat to other makeup/cosmetics fiends and I can do quick snippets on stuff I'm using/liking/not liking that aren't quite full post worthy.
The page is here, if you are interested: www.facebook.com/pages/London-Makeup-Girl/112856612148374

FB is a complete mystery to me, so I will expect, nay demand and review a few weeks/months in ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi Jan - A review of Facebook, or the stuff I might do speed updates on on Facebook? :D
ReplyDeleteMy reviews will definitely continue to live here. Sometimes I try something and am a bit 'meh' about it - I don't hate it, but I don't love it. I tend to review the stuff I like more, simply because I use those things more, and I don't like to review on just a few uses - would the meh stuff be of interest to anyone though?
I dunno - I suppose I was thinking of FB really, does it work/help/change your blogging habits? As to "meh" stuff, I find it all interesting, as the quality of the beauty pages in magazines has gone down I find that I crave any decently written, and thought out post, beit a couple of uses or a repurchase for the enth time, your posts always strike me as being written from the heart with honest and intelligent writing so meh or not I will still be reading :)
ReplyDeleteFacebook can be easy nothing as posting your review titles so others can find them easily. It can also be a good way to follow interesting companies. Only you can decide how much time you want to devote to it - it doesn't have to take over your life.
