I hope you'll forgive the off-topic post, but Summer has finally arrived and I wanted to share a couple of pictures of the flowers in our garden.
My husband and his siblings had this rose hybrid made in honour of their father, who loved roses. As well as being a beautiful colour, it has a glorious scent.
Candace the guinea pig enjoying some grass in the early morning before it gets too hot!
What a lovely post. The pot of flowers is so pretty, I like the colours very much. What a lovely idea for the rose hybrid too. Is this a good moment to mention my fear of Guinea Pigs? lol
Beautiful flowers, Grace. I wish I could show mine, but we've had so much rain, everything is behind (or beaten down by the water). This seems to be an off year for my biennials, but I have foxglove blooming like crazy in crazy places. I blame bird and bee poop for the flower migration.
Soon, very soon, my hydrangeas will explode, and then I can finally sit outside and sigh.
Such beautiful flowers, thanks for sharing! Although I don't plant any flowers near my place my parents always have a beautiful garden which I really enjoy when I come to visit.
Candace is gorgeous! The flowers are stunning too.
You have a wonderful blog by the way, I will definitly be checking back to read more of what you post. I wish you all of the luck in the world with the blog (although I am sure you don't need it).

Candace has a rocking hairdo. I have never seen Elvis in it before, but I think I will see it forever more! :D
Candace is a big cuddler, even more so since Stacey (our other guinea pig) sadly passed. We're planning to see how she does when she goes to her Piggie Hotel this summer, and if she's interested in the other guinea pigs we'll get her another friend after the summer.
aww Candace is adorable!! And the flowers are just beautiful.
