Help: Clear Skin is a powder supplement that can be mixed with any drink or soft food. It is intended to help improve skin suffering from spots or acne. The key ingredient is Praventin, rich in lactoferrin, a glycoprotein that is part of the immune system of the body. The idea is that it will help the body to fight acne bacteria and repair damaged skin. The formula also contains aloe vera and ogliofructose (a soluble fibre).
Works With Water have offered a full 6 week course (worth £60) for me to give away on my blog. I'm not going to make a review a requirement of entry, but if the winner did want to report back after finishing the course I'd be very happy to publish their findings (and I'm personally curious to find out if these work).
You can find out more about the supplements at www.workswithwater.co.uk.
To enter the draw, please leave a comment telling me who represents your ideal skin. For me, it's Cate Blanchett - her skin is beautifully smooth and luminous without looking botoxed or pulled.
The giveaway is open until Friday 01 July, and I will draw the winner on 02 July. After entering, you may email me your email at londonmakeupgirl [at] googlemail [dot] com or leave your email address in your comment if you wish to do so (email addresses will only be used for the purpose of contacting the winner). If the winner doesn't respond or contact me by 09 July, I will draw an alternative.

This sounds really fascinating! I'd love to have a shot at winning this :) I'm Suzanne and can be reached at donttheyknowwhoiam@gmail.com .
ReplyDeleteMy skin idea would be Dita Von Teese - so chic and classic (and I've seen her without makeup! she's flawless makeupless as well!(bitch))
:p
I'd love to try this out! Look interesting and wonder if it'll work!

I would love to enter, and would be happy to report back the results. Thandie Newton represents my ideal skin - hers always looks smooth and glowing, and as she is nearly forty and has obviously taken great care of it, she's an inspiration to me as I'm half her age and her skin is far nicer! I wish I knew her secret :) x
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for sharing- this sounds v interesting.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it's all about Blake Lively's healthy, glowing skin.
For me it has to be Nicole Kidman, that gorgeous skin against that red hair! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteMy email is cborg00@gmail.com.
:) X
Maybe Tilda Swinton? I am really pale, but not as pale as she is ... but my skin has so many problems, and acne REALLY shows up and basically shouts from across the room when you are really pale - so seeing the perfection of her skin, especially since so often she wears extremely minimal makeup (even for red-carpet) I love how her skin glows and has that almost translucent luminosity.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try something like this. I feel like I'm at my wits end to find something that will help with my breakouts, and fade the red marks that are left behind without irritating my skin (resulting in more breakouts) or over-treating the problem with topicals.

Every time I see Zhang Ziyi on the big screen I am mesmerised by her skin, truly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try this product - recently coming off the contraceptive pill has meant my skin has gone haywire, but I don't want to give in a go back it. To try an internal approach would be really interesting.

This sounds like it would be a lifesaver for my consistently problem, acne-prone, insufferable skin!!
ReplyDeleteTo me Anne Hathaway has the most gorgeous, glowing, porcelain complexion and I am completely and totally envious of her flawlessness.

OMG I would love to win this. At 30 my skin is regularly worse now than when I was a teen:-( My email is lilllisal30@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win this as I suffer with acne really badly.
ReplyDeleteI love Selena Gomez and Katy Perry's skin so much.
meganwilliams97@hotmail.co.uk
I think loads of stars have lovely skin but Angelina Jolie does have really amazing skin, her face always looks luminous.
ReplyDeletesaracostello@live.co.uk
I'd so much love to try this in my ongoing battle with acne, which had been dormant but recently has flared up again since I've stopped using the pill - didn't want to put hormones in my body anymore, but now I have to suffer.
ReplyDeleteI encountered the perfect skin yesterday when looking at Lisa Eldridge's blog and saw pictures of Gemma Arterton, she has freckles but they look adorable, not like 'flaws' at all and her skin looks virtually foundation-free (Lisa just used a bit of Chanel Lumiere Aqua), yet her skin is so radiant and even and spotless, though at the same time very real (not photoshopped plastic looking). Gemma's skin is a joy to behold. :)
If I get chosen, I'd love to report back on using the supplements as well, I think it would be helpful for others wanting to try it.
*fingers crossed*

Hi Grace
ReplyDeleteHard to pick just one but I think Diane Kruger's skin is naturally beautiful, even with only minimal makeup it exudes a fresh and luminous quality.
Hmmm, I think I'd definitely have to go with Halle Berry on the skin - I always notice how her skin looks glowing but not shiny. I'd love to enter the contest, my email address is chee.tah.pi.ta[at]gmail[dot]com
ReplyDeleteHi,

Hello, I just popped over from lipglossipping, your blog is great! I love Kate Winslet's skin, she does natural and made up both with equal beauty. I'd absolutely love to try out this product! ria x
ReplyDeleteCool contest! For a while, my acne was improved, but lately, I feel more pimply than ever- at close to 30 that's really depressing :(
ReplyDeleteMy skin idol is probably Julia Roberts. I used to get a lot of compliments when I was younger that I could be her double, but it always broke my heart when I looked in the mirror and all I could see was pizza face. Julia has always looked so effortlessly pretty, can you even imagine what a life that would be?

I agree with Cate Blanchett!

a great prize, just what i need at the moment as my skin is irritated, whiteheads, lumps, bumps and visible pores. Everything i try makes it worse and have lost my confidence and hate looking at myself as it gets me down
ReplyDeletei would be willing to report the results back, i like evaluating products as it helps people from wasting their money
my favourite person is marcia cross, her skin is flawless and radiant all the time, no heavy makeup or botox, which i love as people in hollywood go down the route of plastic surgery and look awful, she does not need any makeup as she looks gorgeous anyway
please include me in this great competition
thank you
