Face Stockholm is a Swedish make-up artist brand that has a wide variety of colours and textures in its colour cosmetics, and some very good foundations and base products. That's not such a big deal now but it certainly was back in the 1990s, and it's still an excellent brand with some very reliable products in wearable colours, as well as much brighter shades. Years ago there used to be a Face Stockholm shop in London's South Molton Street, and then a selection of products were available at HQ Hair until a couple of years ago when sadly it was withdrawn from the UK market.
Face Stockholm has now relaunched in the UK with a Manchester shop and a UK website at www.facestockholm.co.uk. The colour swatches on the website are a bit on the titchy side, but hopefully more shops will follow. I've owned and would recommend the cream blush in Shanghai (a coral red that gives a very pretty natural flush) and matte eyeshadow in Gron (a slightly greenish chestnut, which sounds odd but makes a very good crease/contour shade for the eyes). I liked the colour density of the pot lipglosses, but did find them a bit sticky on the lips.

i am sooooo excited about this development! I've got SUCH a soft spot for Face Stockholm! Their red lippie is to die for and they clear plastic cosmetic bags are beyond fabulous quality. A fave for my kit! x

Face Stockholm has now left the U.K. (after a very short stay). Manchester shop closed and website gone - oh dear what a whirlwind visit that was. I hope they get their strategy better next time we see them...!
