The foundation is a nice one, similar in texture to Scott Barnes' cream foundation. I'd be the shade Bare off camera. ;)
I was guest posting at Zuneta again last week and forgot to mention it here, so I'm doing it now. My post was about the brands and products I like in colour cosmetics for older skin. You can read it here. I'm back for my last visit tomorrow, reviewing some skincare Zuneta sent me to try out.
Oh, I found a random picture the other day of myself wearing a couple of Edward Bess products (Dusk eyeshadow and Midnight Bloom lipstick) as a blonde:
Very strange to see myself as a blonde!

Such a pretty look. I really like the lip colour on you. Do you think the Edward Bess products are worth the money? They look fabulous, but it is hard to tell when you can't try them out in person. There are so many new brands this year that I want to try but too little money!
ReplyDeleteJust watched the video, am very jealous. That man has fabulous hair!
ReplyDeletehe he what a flirt he is! need to check out this line. love you as a blonde! x
ReplyDeleteYou look great as a blonde! Edward has amazing hair too! Wow!!!
ReplyDeleteOk, you look lovely and the foundation looks like a terrific product, but omg, Edward Bess is so good-looking...and that HAIR! I only have the lipsticks & glosses, but love them.
ReplyDeleteHi Lipstick Luvvie - my favourite products are the eyeshadows and the bronzer, beautiful neutrals. I do like the colours and texture of the lipsticks, but they're quite figgy-scented, which I'm not personally overly keen on.
ReplyDeleteHello Amina - thank you. He is utterly charming, I was swooning a little every time he said my name ;)
Hi Stells - his hair is to.die.for.
Hello Anonymous - LOL! He is really very extremely pretty, with beautiful beautiful hair. It's a very good line, small but great colours.
You look GREAT!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's so awesome that you were his model!
ReplyDeleteHe is quite gorgeous, I must say....
You always look fabulous- blonde or brunette!

I loved seeing him put the foundation on your face. He seems so gentle. That must have been a thrill.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, he did not only touch your face, he kept going for AGES and paying you compliments, too!! Good on your girl :) I do agree with him: your skin's flawless!! xx
ReplyDeleteI saw the video a few days ago before your post - and thoroughly enjoyed it, but I must say he and his range seem a bit too good to be true and I fear that as with most makeup if you have good skin and features (as you do) it will look good no matter what - sorry if that is a bit cynical!
ReplyDeleteHi Lucia - thank you :)
ReplyDeleteHey jv - it's weird to see myself as a blonde now. I was v lucky indeed to be his model!
Hey Marcia - he was so so gentle. He has the most beautiful voice too, also very gentle.
Hi Sam - thank you for the kind words on my skin. The video is edited too - but I was in no hurry for him to be finished! ;)
Hey LMamma - well thank you first off! :) I think a makeup artist can make most any makeup look okay as they know how to pick the right colours and apply it, but how it feels on the skin, and how makeup performs for non-professionals (like me!) make some brands worth paying more for IMO. With lines like EB, I know I can pick any of his colours and they'll look good, and they're easy for me to slap on. I will freely admit I like the pampering of using brands like these too.
I don't even know if you'll see this post, but I keep bumping into it, with the photo of you wearing Dusk and Midnight Bloom, and I wanted to tell you this is my favorite look on you. You were made for Edward Bess products, and you should be his official muse.
ReplyDeleteHi Zuzu's Petals - that's a really nice comment, thank you! I love his brand, it's so classic and wearable. I would happily volunteer for that position ;)
