Edward Bess launches at Zuneta, and pictures and swatches

The Edward Bess line has just launched at Zuneta.com here and I thought this might be a helpful time to post pictures and swatches of the products from the line I own (US friends have helped me to get hold of it from over there).

Eyeshadows pictured above, from left to right: Night, Mystery, Dusk, Intimate.

Swatches in the same order.

Daydream bronzer.

Swatch of Daydream. It's one of the few bronzers I can wear on my pale skin because it doesn't have orange tones and the fine texture makes it difficult to overcook.

Swatch of Midnight Bloom lipstick (left) with Tom Ford Cherry Lush lipstick (right) for comparison. Midnight Bloom is a truer, less pink red, although it is still cool toned.
The lipsticks and bronzer are scented with fig - which isn't my favourite scent and it's quite strong too. I do love the textures though, and the eyeshadows are some of the most flattering shades of sludge I own. Intimate is one of my favourite eyeshadows to wear with a strong lip - it adds definition without competing with your lipcolour. I'm tempted by the powder blushes and the cream highlighter products, now that this line is available in the UK, as well as Eternal Flame lipstick (a more vivid 1940s red).

  1. You make me laugh, I certainly have a penchant for sludge and I've been eyeing up Dusk and Intimate already. I was considering one of the darker pink lipsticks from the line. That red looks lovely though!

  4. I am seriously jealous of all of you who are going to see Edward. From the photos that I saw of him he looked to "moody" imo, but I watched the Zuneta videos today and he seems really lovely and of course pretty. And I like his idea of neutral, flattering makeup, although sometimes I feel like I'd need more color. By the way, is it just me or is the casing of the lipsticks similar to Rouge Bunny Rouge lipsticks?
Either way, I hope you have a great time tomorrow! x

  5. Sludge really isn't a selling point for me although I know lots of women who love it..

I know what I said but that swatch tells me I have to go to the Tom Ford counter as soon as the sweltering weather allows. I've seen other things from the line andEdward Bess just seems..well...dull.

  6. Great news that Edward Bess is finally available on Zuneta! I really want to try that bronzer - I have such trouble finding one that will work on my pale skin!

  7. Nice colors! The bronzer looks nice, I should get out into the real world more and look at the stuff.

  8. Hey MB - really looking forward to seeing you tomorrow - I think you'd like Dusk.

Hello Mq,cb - it's a very nice red. Quite sheer though.

Hi Musing on Beauty - he does have some very flattering neutrals that are worth looking at. :)

Hello Klara - I'm really looking forward to meeting him. The lipstick casing is indeed the same size and shape as the RBR. I like the face/eye products, I do need to go for the more colourful shades in his lip line up.

Hello Get Gawjus - thank you for stopping by! It is a nice line.

Hi Joolz - *whispers* I like the Tom Ford lipsticks better. Of course, they're also more expensive.

Hello Dempeaux - I'm very glad Zuneta got this one, and it's handy that they ship internationally too. It's one of the few bronzers I can wear comfortably.

Hey Olivia - it's a lovely bronzer, but I think it's quite similar to the 3CC one you already have.
