Suqqu limited edition Lilac Allure Anniversary Kit

I received this flyer yesterday in the mail. Suqqu is releasing this limited edition kit in the UK to celebrate the first anniversary of Suqqu's launch at Selfridges Birmingham.

It contains a blend eyeshadow (which looks to be similar in theme to the eyeshadow quads from Spring 2010).  It also contains a gloss and lip color duo, and a mini mascara. If you're interested in Suqqu, this kit would be a great introduction to the line, and the kits are usually very good value for money (the flyer doesn't say how much it is).

  1. That looks beautiful. I have been considering a blend eyeshadow so this set looks perfect. Has it been released already do you know?

  2. Hi Modesty - it's out on Thursday (27 May) according to the flyer. I like the lip gloss and color duos too - I have a couple from Spring 2008 and Autumn 2008.

  3. Thanks Grace, I'll put in the diary to phone up and order. I haven't bought any Suqqu before but like you say this will be a good start.

  4. That looks really nice, although like you say maybe too similar to that one I got from the spring collection ? Not sure I can bring myself to do another phone order from them though after last time. I keep checking the Selfridges online store in the hope that they add it :)

  5. Hi Modesty - it's a really nice way to try the line, I hope you like it!

Hi Replica - it does look very similar to the cool quad from Spring that you have already. When I'm next by a counter I'll have a look at both and perhaps report back how similar they are. (I'd try the Birmingham counter if you ever do a phone order again, the London one is so busy!)

  7. I must. have. this.

I wonder how much it is? I'll guess £60?

Do I have to go to Birmingham to buy this though? There's Brummies there and everythin'!

  8. Hi Cosmetic Candy. It's possible to order over the phone at both London and Birmingham Selfridges. Birmingham initially said no, but if anyone needs to order from there do ask for the manager Rebecca (an aforementioned Brummie).

Although I ordered it on Thursday I will confess I didn't ask the price. I was having a head in the sand moment! Once I've seen the invoice I'll let you know the damage.

  9. Hi Autumn Masquerade - really nice to see you again. Suqqu kits are always very well put together.

Hey CC - I'd guess £50/£60, which is generally what these sort of kits cost. It didn't say how much it is on the flyer.

LOL Jane! I would guess about £50/£60, which is how much this type of set generally is, and Suqqu tends to be very consistent in its pricing.

  10. It has arrived. I haven't played around with it too much as I don't want fingerprints on it until after it's photoshoot! It looks beautiful though and the little make up bag is so pretty.

The price was £65 so only a bit more than expected.
