I finally got hold of the Rococo Gold Leaf top coat, after lusting after it since before Christmas. Cult Beauty have it in stock, and when they were offering free shipping on any order over £25, I was able to order it guilt-free.
This is the Gold Leaf applied over two coats of Rococo Black Sakura cream nail polish. I do like the effect; it's not gilding the lily too far, and is quite a subtle way to add a little bling to my nails. You can control how much gold leaf you pick up on the brush by swooshing it around in the bottle more or less, and you can place and move the gold flecks to arrange them in a way that is pleasing to you.
At £22, this is expensive, but I am glad I bought it. I can rarely be bothered with top coat, and this incentivises me to do that extra step.
Cult Beauty is at www.cultbeauty.co.uk. They stock some excellent brands, and I've been very impressed with the Margaret Dabbs foot cream I bought in the same order.
