Interesting new product from Inlight Organic Skincare

Inlight have just launched an acne/spot/scrape treatment that is a combination of neem, tea-tree and propolis in an anti-inflammatory and soothing emollient base. It seems to be a herbal/natural version of Savlon.

You can read more about the product here: http://www.inlight-online.co.uk/products/organic-acn-easy-balm. I'm going to pick up a tube (it's £11.45 for 28g/1oz) because I like the ingredients, it will also be handy for any cuts and scrapes, and Mr London sometimes gets the odd ingrowing hair that can get a bit inflamed when he digs them out with (my) tweezers.

Picture is from Inlight website.

  1. Oh I'd like to hear your thoughts on it, when you buy it/tried it out for a bit.

  2. I would too! I have three tubes of savlon in the house! Always wonder whether natural healing products work as well without all the chemicals...

  3. Ohmigosh I need to buy this and try it immediately. I still have spots (funny how grown women get acne now... what is it? Stress? Diet? Crap additives in diet? What!? Tell me, someone!!!) and try pretty much everything I can to rid myself of them. After I have a ferocious pick sometimes I'll apply triple antibiotic cream but this sounds even better.

  4. Fee and Jo - I'll be sure to report back. The ingredients look excellent for healing.

Hi Beautywoome - I think it's all of the above, unfortunately. Also, I am sure we tend to focus more minutely on our skin than our mums and grandmas, which means we see (and pick at) every tiny flaw - I am sure that just makes things worse.
