OPI Jade Is The New Black applied

This is OPI Jade Is The New Black, from the Hong Kong collection. Apologies for the lack of clean up, but I wanted to get a shot while there is decent light outside to pick the colour up properly. This is a slightly faded bluish jade green cream. Gorgeous colour, but I did find it a little draggy to apply. I got good coverage with two coats, as pictured.

I bought mine from Selfridges, because I was too impatient to wait and order online, but OPI is available from e-tailers for less than the £10 I paid for mine.

  4. This is a really intriguing colour. I've been wearing Barry M's Racing Green for a while now - perhaps this is the next step :)

  5. I am currently wearing this right now - chipped on almost every nail. I love it. I wasn't too big on the whole mint/jade trend - too pastel for me. This green, however, just right!

  7. LOL Michelle - that was quick! It's a lovely green, I'm liking it a lot.

Hi Lexi - I think I like this better than the pastels too - it seems to work better on my pale skin. Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow is another nice green from OPI.

Hey Sarah - that BarryM is a great colour.

Hi Helen - Oh really? :D It is a nice green.

Hey Amina - I think the slightly faded quality of the green makes is quite wearable. Very bright or pastel greens are harder for me to wear, too.

Hey Old Cow - this collection is lovely, the blue in it is nice too.

  8. That's a lovely green, although I don't quite get the name: Jade. Well, OK, as you said, it's a bluish jade green. ;)
