Excited about Suqqu Spring 2010

One of my favourite bloggers, Lina at TheBeautyLookBook.com, has scanned and posted pictures of the upcoming Spring 2010 collections from Voce and Maquia. You can drool over her pictures here. About halfway down, there is a page featuring the Spring 2010 Suqqu collection, and it looks gorgeous.

I did some googling for more information, and found this post at rougedeluxe.blogspot.com. Haru, who writes Rouge Deluxe, is an excellent source of information on Japanese lines, and she writes that this collection is inspired by the layering of watercolours to create nuanced shades. The colours in the collection certainly look delicate and pretty, like a Monet painting. Interestingly, the packaging appears to be white, like the original Suqqu packaging, rather than the black violet of the recent Blend collections. I think this works well with the dreamy colours and theme.

There are 3 eyeshadow quads, 3 blush duos, 5 lipsticks and a multi-coloured face powder (which looks a bit like MAC Lightscapade, from the Danse collection.) All the products are limited edition, so I will be making sure I am at the counter as soon as this collection is released! The collection releases in Japan at the beginning of February, I would guess it will be out in the UK at the beginning of March.

  2. That does look really nice, I still have not got round to Suqqu so maybe this will be the collection for me! Out of the other ones there I only like the look of Chanel, NARS and Armani.

  4. Hi Popcorn - it does look pretty, not quite as strong a theme as recent collections (pastels are done a lot in the Japanese lines) but I have faith that Suqqu doesn't disappoint me.

Hey Replica - I think this collection would really flatter your delicate colouring. I'm not grabbed by many of the other spring collections either - Chanel and NARS are the ones speaking to me.

Hi Sizbelle - it does look very pretty and pastel. I'll be sure to report when it launches here. Thank you for your comment. :)
