Edward Bess Midnight Bloom lipstick applied

This is Midnight Bloom, one of the two reds in the Edward Bess lipstick line. The redesign of the Edward Bess website is completely bonkers, as it has no colour swatches on it at all that I can find. I don't know how you are meant to choose colours, particularly as the other retailer in the US, Bergdorf Goodman, does not carry the line on its website. Whoever redesigned the website should be made to write 100 lines of 'I must not make it harder to make sales' in HTML or something.

  1. Completely agree with you about the EB website. Very annoying. Good thing I have everything I want from them for now!

    I happen to be wearing Eternal Passion today. A more flattering red for my (pale, cool, blue-eyed) coloring than Midnight Bloom, but it's bright. Reminds me a lot of NARS Flaming Dust.

    I suppose they are not very interested in selling something. I wanted to order and had technical problems with the site over and over again, almost two weeks later I´m still waiting to hear from customer service! If I didn´t want the products so badly, I´d write a site like this off immediately.

  3. Totally agree on the new website...also I was quoted USD for shipping to the UK, which imo it's a lot - it equals the price of a lipstick!

  5. Hi ladies. I can't for the life of me understand a website redesign that makes it harder to sell your goods, it's bizarre. Shame too, because the cosmetics are excellent. Thanks for all your comments.

  6. Yuck! on this lip color is this a sheer lip color? because I don't see a lot of color saturation. Maybe a liner will jazz this up?
