Julie Hewett Gem Noir picture applied
Gem Noir is one of the sheer reds in the Julie Hewett Noir range. It's a warm strawberry red, and is very good if sheer reds tend to turn too pink on you. This is still one of my top 5 red lipsticks, and a great red if you want a subtle red lip look.

Wow - I'd never equate that colour in the tube to that colour on the lips - what a revelation! Beautiful colour; it looks like a very wearable red.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of this one too, though I tend to forget about it for a time and then wonder why when I rediscover it. The coverage is also perfect when you just want a swipe of colour with an almost bare face.
ReplyDeleteReally pretty - I love washes of red like this - makes it much easier to wear x
ReplyDeleteI like this one too and it is a nice texture for a sheer lipstick.
ReplyDeleteOooh I quite like that actually.
ReplyDeleteHi Ondine - JH sheers are very wearable. This is a lovely one.
ReplyDeleteHey Xgirl - it's perfect to brighten up a bare face. x
Hi Mizzworthy - yes, much easier to get used to, I think.
Hey Olivia - her lipsticks are a lovely texture. I don't think these are quite as moisturising as the Bijous, but they are comfy.
Hey Bicky - oooh - we have a red you'd consider!? It's very flattering.
