New Kaleidoscope Eye Kit at Le Metier De Beaute - Hypnotique (and a GWP)

I popped into Liberty at lunchtime today, and after my huff about the Persephone Kit I wanted not being released over here, and the Spring kits all being a bit on the bright side for my taste, there is finally a Le Metier Kaleidoscope Kit (available here) that is calling to me.

It's called Hypnotique, and it's a colourful smoky eye kit. There is a plum, a chocolate, an antique gold and a charcoal, and all are shimmery. At £65 it certainly isn't inexpensive, but the eyeshadows are full size (and the full size ones individually are £21 each.) It's not up on the Liberty website yet, and the only picture I've been able to find online is a completely duff one from Neiman's in the US that looks nothing like the real thing (you can see it here, for what it's worth.)

You can book a makeover at the Le Metier counter with their national Make Up Director next week (from Monday November 9) and if you spend £85 or over you will receive a gift bag worth approximately £50. More details (and a booking form) can be found here (oddly, it's an email booking form rather than a telephone number, and it doesn't tell you what's in the GWP unfortunately.) Edit to add: this form has expired, so I have removed the link.

  1. that sounds really nice, the ones on Liberty look really bright so this sounds more wearable. I hope they put it up on the website then I can get that Diptque candle at the same time !

  2. It sounds like a better buy in the UK than in the US. Those are $95 here for the 4 shadows though I think the shadows might be close to $30 individually. That combo sounds nice.

  3. Hi Replica - the spring ones were very bright. I wish we'd had this brand in time for the Goddess collection last fall; there was a gorgeous plummy quad (Persephone) and a nice bronzey/gold one too. This one is pretty (although the shades are all quite dark.)

Hey Marcia - it's really pretty; it might go on the Christmas list. It's v expensive in the US!

  4. Hey,

Thanks for sharing the link - but unfortunately it seems to be not working? Does anybody here at www.londonmakeupgirl.com have a mirror or another source?

    Thanks,
    Daniel

  5. Hi Daniel - it seems like that link has expired, so I've removed it. The GWP event was last year, hopefully they might have another one this year.
