NARS Brousse eyes of the day


As expected, Brousse eyeshadow duo is lovely; wearable and easy to work with. I'm wearing it over Lili Marlene cream eyeshadow (again!) with the smoky purple applied over the lid, and the bark brown in the crease and applied under the lower lashes. Waterline lined with London pencil. All products by NARS.

Picture taken at a horrible hour of the morning before I went to work, so I think the flash may have muted the colour of the eyeshadow a bit.

    At the NARS event I went to, the makeup artist used an angled brush to mix the two colours in Brousse together to line my eyes (he first lined with a brown liner). This on top softened the look -- so pretty!

  3. Thats really pretty, I was going to get it but saw a few posts where people were saying they were warm toned shades ?
    Did you get your spacenk 20% off email ? I am going to use it as an excuse to get that oribe stuff :)

  4. Hi Michelle - oh, I like the idea of mixing them together to line, I will have to try that. I bet this duo looks nice with a brown liner too; I should try to break away from the grey.

    Hi Replica - I would say these are neutral cool, much much cooler than Cheyenne, for example. My product pictures in the earlier post are

    re: the email: Yes, and said bugger, because I'd just bought that By Terry Ombre Blackstar at lunchtime! I'll pass mine onto Mr L because quite a lot of my Christmas List is SpaceNK based. I hope they get the newer stuff up online in time for the code to work.
