Suqqu Marotsuya makeover picture

This is a picture taken a few hours after my makeover when I arrived home (so please excuse the messy hair and the tired face - it had been a long week!) The only things I had to reapply for this picture were the lip colour pencil and lip gloss.

I also had single blush 05 Masoo applied. All other items are as in my previous post on my Marotsuya purchases.

  4. I love whatever it is you have on your eyes! Very nice.. and the whole thing looks like it lasted well for the few hours. I tend to sweat my make-up off in the tube within 2 hours!

  5. Hi Jackie - I agree that the promotional visuals for Dystopia are stunning - Mika photographs so well. I'd love to see your interpretation of the look. I left a comment on your post about the Adam Sidwell interview by the way. x

Hi Tali - It's quad EX04 and the contour duo EX01. The bronze from the quad (used to line my lower eyelashes) is beautiful. x

  7. Hi Olivia - thank you :) Suqqu is a very wearable line, I think because it is aimed at the more mature end of the market they are always aware of how wearable a collection is. I found the concept of the eyebrow/nose contouring really interesting.

  8. That looks really pretty. I'm getting more and more tempted by this brand. Do you know if their limited edition stuff stays around for a while and if they ever do special sets where it works out as a good deal ?

  9. Hi Replica

The LE stuff usually stays around for a while, and I'd say that the colour items from this collection will be there for a good 3-4 months at least. The Polish Face Colour is already sold out in Japan - I think it was launched there in July, and I think it will sell out quickly here, because it's actually an excellent deal with the brush - Suqqu brushes are exquisite, but expensive - I have an eyeshadow blush that I love, but it was £40. If you wanted the Polish Face Colour, I wouldn't bet on it being available past the end of this month.

As far as deals go - they often have foundation coffrets that include smaller sizes of the primer/foundation etc at a very good price. At Christmas they also tend to do special sets that are good - last year's was a set with a LE eyeshadow quad, a mascara and something else I can't remember, and then the lip quad set had a smaller size of the loose Natural face powder too.

  10. Absolutely lovely makeover - you look so beautifully regal...

Suquu is a brand I've never really been interested in but that face powder and kabuki looks gorgeous. Howz the kabuki?

  11. Hi Moodeve - thank you, I loved the makeover. The brush that comes with the Polish Face Colour is incredibly soft and very well made.

  12. Hello Grace,
I'm not sure I should chance the polish as my skin is so break 0ut prone. I do think I may have to get that eyeshadow palette and at least one of the others in your collection, may have to leave it till next month, gone maekup crazy already, I take it you know Zuneta has a 20% off RBR this month ?

  13. Hi Replica

Yes, I just placed a RBR order for a friend in the US using the 20% code, and popped in a couple of bits for me too :) Best not to chance the face polish if you tend to break out with this kind of product, and I am sure the eyeshadows will be around for a few months. x
