Artful Dodger is from the new spring collection from Butter London. Artful Dodger is a true teal cream; very finger-on-the-fashion-pulse, but also very wearable, even on my fishbelly pale hands. This is a cheery, summery shade, but it isn't so bright that it's garish.
At the same time I bought this (and Branwens Feather - will do a picture with this one next week) I also bought the Butter London nail base and top coat, so I'll report back on how these help with wear in a few days.
The colour applied well; the formula is pigmented and gives a deep and even coverage in two coats. The handle is still a bit clunky (even with the discovery I could take off the square bit, it's a little small for very easy handling; apparently there will be a new longer handle soon.)
Picture is with two coats and the Butter London PD Quick top coat.

Am laughing my arse off at "fishbelly".
ReplyDeleteLovely colour - very this season, dahling.
Thank you dahling, *mwah* :D
ReplyDeleteMy hands are a particularly difficult colour to work with - so many colours give me zombie hands.
